Evening visit the tea gardens and coffee plantations.
After the tour resumes to Majuli. Visit the missing tribal villages here. Evening visit the sand beach in Brahmaputra to watch the lovely sunset. Stay overnight here. Next day morning visit the Mask making village. The masks of Majuli has some uniqueness. Then drive to Jorhat. Visit the mosques, tombs, gardens here. Next day morning drive to Guwahati. On the way to Guwahati visit the Tea-garden and the local market and continue to Guwahati. After reaching Guwahati visit Kalakshetra to explore the Assamese history and culture through light and sound show. Then visit the Kamakhya temple, Sukreswar temple, Navagraha temple and depart to your next journey. The tour ends with beautiful memories!
On arrival at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station & transfer to Kaziranga National Park, the home of “One Horned Rhinoceros”, Check in at your hotel. Evening is free for leisure. Overnight stay at Kaziranga
Early morning traverse any one zone of Kaziranga National Park on back of Elephant. Apart from the Rhino, other species found are Hog Deer, Swamp Deer, Wild Buffalo, Elephants and if you are lucky then tiger . It is also home to pelicans, storks and darters as there are a number of water bodies inside the Park. Return to the resort for breakfast. In the afternoon enjoy jeep safari through the National Park. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay at Kaziranga.
After finished breakfast proceed for Majuli is the largest fresh water mid-river deltoid island in the world. Initially be driven upto Nimatighat and then cross mighty Brahmaputra River by local ferry to reach Majuli. Arrive and check in the traditionally built cottages. In the afternoon explore Majuli, Dakhinpat Satra, Bengenaati Satra, Shamaguri Satra and Garamurh Satra collectively known as Satras – the birth place of Vaishnavite culture in Assam. Also visit the Missing tribal villages. In the evening visit nearby sand beach in Brahmaputra to witness the sunset. Overnight stay at Majuli.
The masks of Majuli have uniqueness. These are made of clay, bamboo, cloth etc. Despite the size of the masks these are quite light in weight. Masks are made on all the characters of the Mahabharata, Ramayana, and Puranas. Later in the day get transferred to Jorhat. Again you would be crossing the mighty Brahmaputra River by Ferry. After reaching Nimatighat get driven to Jorhat. Arrive & check in to the hotel. Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay at Jorhat.
Later drive to Guwahati. Arrive and check in at hotel. In the evening visit ‘Kalakshetra’, a place where Assamese history and culture is presented through Light and sound show. Return to hotel. Overnight stay at Guwahati.
After breakfast, proceed to visit Kamakhya Temple, Tirupati Balaji Temple, Nabagraha Temple, Assam State Museum, State Zoo cum Botanical Garden, Regional Science Centre & Sukreswar Temple. Afternoon we suggest an optional tour of Golden sunset cruise on the Brahmaputra (Direct Payment by own). Overnight stay at Guwahati.
After breakfast check out from hotel and transfer to Guwahati Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey.
