After returning from England, Victor Soraine built BetVic house and received his retirement with the memories of his childhood. With coconut groves, casuarinas and gentle sand dunes, Gopalpur Beach have its own charm among all the beaches of India.
In the 1970s, the beach was renovated by the Odisha Govt. for commercial purpose. The old jetty became the tourists’ attraction point while the construction work for the new jetty is still under supervision. With the port and its ancient history, Gopalpur beach also offers some enthusiastic get-togethers like Gopalpur Beach Festival and Aqua Sports.
